Welcome to the second part of our MakeForms 2.0 launch series! Last week, we gave you a quick tour of our brand-new dashboard and the massive performance improvements we've made. This week, we're diving into something you'll use every single day: the all-new Responses Dashboard.

We know that a form is only as good as the data it collects, and how you manage that data is critical to your workflow. That's why we've completely rebuilt the responses screen from the ground up to be more powerful, collaborative, and intuitive.

A Modern, Spreadsheet-Like Interface

The first thing you’ll notice is a clean, minimal design that feels just like a spreadsheet. But this isn't just a pretty face; it’s packed with functionality you’ve been asking for.

• Set a Title Field: No more endless scrolling. You can now select any column as your Title Field, and it will remain frozen as you scroll horizontally. This ensures you always know which response you're looking at, no matter how many fields your form has.
• Freeze Columns: Just like in your favorite spreadsheet tool, you can now freeze multiple columns, giving you a customized view of your most important data.
• Adjust Column Widths: Take control of your data view by adjusting column widths to fit your needs.

Enterprise-Ready Collaboration and Audits

We've made it easier than ever for teams to work together and stay accountable. Every response now has its own dedicated edit view, with powerful features that make collaboration seamless.

• Edit Responses with Audit Logs: Now you can edit a response directly from the dashboard. What's more, every change is automatically logged in a detailed audit trail. If a team member updates a response, you'll know who changed what, from what value, and when. This is a game-changer for data integrity and team transparency.
• Collaborate with Comments: Leave notes and communicate with your team right inside the response view. Whether you're providing feedback, asking a question, or flagging an issue, the new comments feature keeps your conversations organized and tied directly to the relevant data.
• Manage Tags with Ease: Tags are now integrated directly into the response edit screen. Add new tags on the fly or select from your global tags to keep your data organized and searchable.

Grouping and Custom Views: See Only What You Need

For those with a high volume of responses, the new dashboard offers powerful filtering and grouping tools to help you focus.

• Create Custom Views: Tired of sifting through all your responses? Create a custom "View" to filter your data and see only the responses that meet your criteria. Want to see all the responses for "Indoor Events"? Create a view for it. You can switch between different views with a single click.
• Group Responses: Quickly organize your data by a specific field. For example, you can group all responses by the "Cuisine" field to see a clean breakdown of your data at a glance.
• Kanban Board (Beta): We’ve brought the power of project management to your form responses. With the new Kanban view, you can see and organize your responses on a customizable board, perfect for managing workflows. This is currently in beta, and we're excited to hear your feedback on it!
